Things we Love.....

As the Love Month comes to an end, wanted to share a few things that we are loving these days around the Richard household!

1. Learning new Tricks....Coop is working on balancing here on his own while making a basket.  We also are getting good at clapping!
2. A Beautiful Snow......although we were trying to fly out this day to Chicago, we still enjoyed it ;)

3. Hanging out with 3 Generations!

4. A little afternoon visit from Great Uncle Dale (Aunt Kay came too but forgot to get a pic with her!)

5. Looking like my Dad......(found these two pictures posted next to each other on Suzi's bulletin board in her laundry room, the top is Andy at 1 yrs old, and the bottom of course is Coop......can you see the resemblance?!)

6. Bridal Showers!  Between our dear friends the Connell brothers, my sis Kristel, and Andy's cousin it is Shower season, and I love it ;)

7. And finally, we LOVE our Cooper Book Series from Aunt Abbi and Crew.  The bear I am holding below is named Cooper, and he has a series of books that goes with him, and when you read different lines, he talks back to you.  Human Cooper absolutely loves his Cooper bear, and cracks a huge smile whenever he talks to him.  Thanks so much Eccleston Family!

Here Coop is showing you his two different books....
Cooper's Bear Hug and Rainy Day
Had to take a minute to sample Cooper's Bear Hug of Course......pretty tasty those books
And then a little bite of Cooper's Ear!
Oops Coop got chucked on the floor......
And here I told Coop to give him a kiss......looks a little more like Mouth to Mouth Resuscitation, but adorable all the same.

Hope you have lots to love in your life right now too!

Happy Valentine's Day!

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  Love never fails."

Happy Love Week

First thanks to everyone for all the wonderful birthday wishes, I feel very loved.  All the cards, gifts, special bday dinner with my two boys, and great brunch with friends yesterday were more than I could ask for.  I am very happy and at peace with where I am in life right now, and it's because of all the amazing people God have put in my life.

They say L-O-V-E can be shown in so many different ways and has many "faces", so to kick off Valentine's Day here are a few of Cooper's........

Update from the Heart

Before I post any new pics or give you a Coop update, I have to share what's really on my heart.  Because every time I hug or kiss Coop today, my heart breaks a little more and my eyes fill with tears. Because today, as I get my son up and dressed, some family friends of ours are preparing to say goodbye and celebrate their son's life. Drake was a 3 day miracle, as his parents called him. He was born with a heart condition that allowed him to only live this long.  It is times like these where I have a hard time understanding God's plan, and I know I may never. So I just continue to believe that He is in control.  My heart, thoughts, and prayers go out to Stacy and Jon in California today.

It's hard to say much after that, so I will just leave you with a few pictures......

Cooper at his 9month appointment, waiting to see Dr. Pat. Everything checked out great, and he weighed in at a whopping 17lbs. (only in the 10% for those of you who are wondering, but Dr. Pat says that's ok). We got the ok for real people food, and we are all excited about that, especially little man.

Watching cartoons while Dad showers. Even though he isn't quite crawling, he finds a way to roll of beds real quick, so Dad has him nicely barricaded in with pillows here ;)

My two boys, love them dearly.

Look at these beautiful birthday people! Ryan and Abbi turn the big 3-0 this month, and we got to be there to celebrate with them!
Love you guys!!!!

Coop rocking his almost knee high socks.....and showing off some leg strength there.
Thanks for capturing this precious moment Aunt Heather!
