Fall has arrived!

Ready or not, fall is upon us. And I think I can happily say we are ready!  College football, campfires, chili, Da Bears, Nebraska in the Big 10 (IU welcomes you!), leaves changing color, Cooper's first Halloween, tilling and reseeding the entire yard, etc., etc,........we are excited for it all!  All except the cold weather that is (oh and maybe the yard reseeding project that is currently underway as I write).  Cool crisp air, throw on a hoodie or a fleece and that favorite pair of jeans, I am fine with that.  But 38 degree mornings, and yes that is what we had the other day, I am not ready for that.  Let's just not skip ahead to winter pleeeeasse!!! Fall is the Richard Family's favorite season, and we have a packed one coming up.  A few weddings, a trip to Dayton to see brother Bryan play, a mini vacation in Florida with both parents, a visit from Aunt Heather, a visit from our old Chicago crew the Gerrards and Wolskis, a little family fun rivalry with the Connell Hawkeyes (sp?) and Richard Huskers, and plenty of HUSKER FOOTBALL!!!  In case you are wondering, we as a family decided to be Husker Football fans and Hoosier Basketball Fans.  Fair trade off I think.  Coop's got both outfits ready to rock!!

Our new Exersaucer from our back door neighbor, Beth. She has 3 boys but her youngest is now 9 months and not quite interested anymore, perfect for us, Coop loves it!!!

The yard............dead.
(Andy and Ryan Mendlik killed it two weeks ago, right before we had 30 people over for a wedding shower. Nice timing, right?)

Grandpa Sapp and Andy working away.  Quite a project!
