Loved being able to catch up with some dear Chicago friends this past weekend. A long overdue reunion you could call it. We miss this group. Esther, Lindsey, and I all went to highschool together, and our hubbies have become friends along the way. Now we have added two babies to the mix. As we were pushing our kids on the swings at Grand Beach, Esther looked over me and said, "Could you ever imagine us doing this (meaning being parents), and here we are." No turning back now my friend, no turning back now.
These two were hilarious together! At one point, Cooper kept putting this toy lizard on Jayla's head that she was scared of, and she kept yelling "On me, on me!" And lo and behold, proving he is all boy, he kept doing it again and again to torture the sweet girl.

Although Coop forget his Nebraska gear for the big game opener, we cheered on our favorite BIG RED (see TV in backround) to their first victory of the season!
